Prisons Amendment Bill 2026 Deferred For Further Parliamentary Review
Malaysia has postponed consideration of the Prisons Amendment Bill 2026, which would introduce electronic monitoring and volunteer rehabilitation programmes. The bill will return to two Parliamentary select committees for further scrutiny.
