Aveta expands Vanguard line-up with two new scooters

PETALING JAYA – Aveta Motor Malaysia (Aveta) is strengthening its market position with the launch of two new models in its adventure scooter range — the Aveta Vanguard 180 and the Aveta Vanguard 250 Limited Edition.

The launch follows a positive market response to the Vanguard 250 since it was introduced in January 2025.

The company said continuous market research and rider feedback pointed to growing demand for a smaller-capacity Vanguard that retains the distinctive design, comfort level and adventure-inspired character of the larger model, while offering performance that is easier to manage and better suited to daily use.

Aveta Motor Malaysia group managing director Steven Lim said the Vanguard 180 was introduced in response to that demand, opening the door for more riders to join the Vanguard family as a practical entry point into the adventure lifestyle.

"With the Vanguard 180, we are making the adventure lifestyle easier to get into for riders who prioritise comfort, versatility and a stronger road presence without having to move straight to a larger-capacity motorcycle," he said.

"At the same time, the Vanguard 250 Limited Edition offers a more distinctive expression of this platform by combining exclusive detailing with the privilege of owning a limited edition model," he added.

Lim said the Vanguard 250 Limited Edition builds on the existing platform with exclusive styling details and production capped at just 688 units, each carrying an individual serial number.

Pricing and colours

The Vanguard 180 is offered in Gray Sandstone and Neon Terrain at RM9,398.

The Explorer Pack variant comes exclusively in Frost White and is fitted with a specially designed 46-litre storage box and frame protection to further boost capability and practicality for adventure use. It is priced at RM9,698.

The Vanguard 250 Limited Edition is priced at RM17,188.
