SERDANG – A motorcyclist died at Kilometre 23.9 of the Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP) today after trying to avoid a van that had stopped in the left lane, only to fall and be run over by another motorcycle.

Serdang district police chief Assistant Commissioner Muhamad Farid Ahmad said police received a report of an accident involving a Mitsubishi L300 van and two motorcycles at the location.
Initial investigations found that the van had stopped in the leftmost of four lanes after it was believed to have been involved in an earlier collision with another vehicle.
"The Honda Vario, ridden by a man coming from the same direction, is believed to have tried to avoid the van but failed, skidding and falling in the middle lane.
