BAU – A 55-year-old teacher was found dead in the teachers' toilet of a school here, with police classifying the case as a sudden death.
Bau police chief Haide A Rahman said the woman was found motionless on the floor of the teachers' toilet, and medical officers confirmed her death at 9.08am.
Haide said she had taught Science and Biology at the school for 25 years.
Berita Harian reported that she was last seen in the teachers' room before going to the toilet at about 8.15am.
At about 8.35am, another teacher noticed that her colleague had yet to go to her class, prompting school staff to look for her in the restroom.
When they opened the toilet door, they found the victim unconscious on the floor.
