Puteri Gunung Ledang The Musical tickets on sale from Aug 21

PETALING JAYA – Tickets for Puteri Gunung Ledang The Musical go on public sale from Aug 21, ahead of its run at the Jeffrey Cheah Performing Arts Centre (JCPAC) in Sunway Square, Sunway City Kuala Lumpur, from Oct 31 to Nov 15.

Produced by Enfiniti in collaboration with JCPAC, the musical brings back one of the country's most iconic stage productions after nearly two decades, this time for a new generation of audiences.

Co-executive producer and director Tiara Jacquelina said response had been highly encouraging, with enquiries pouring in as soon as the announcement was made on social media.

"Demand was immediate as enquiries flooded Threads, Instagram, TikTok and the JCPAC ticketing line. Several corporate companies have also made early bookings before the public performance season begins.

"It has been eight years since Enfiniti staged OlaBola The Musical and I had almost forgotten the thrill of opening a large-scale production. Seeing the excitement of audiences makes us even more energised," she said in a statement. (Translated from Malay)

Tiara said the creative and technical teams are fine-tuning every aspect of the production, including music, choreography, set design, costumes and special effects, before full rehearsals begin on Aug 17.

The cast

This year's cast is led by Aisha Retno and Mila Mohsin, who will alternate in the title role of Puteri Gunung Ledang, while Aqasha plays Hang Tuah. Also starring are Mimi Fly, Nadia Aqilah, Luqman Hafidz and Yusof Hashim.

"The entire team is determined to deliver a production that will leave lasting memories for audiences, and we cannot wait to bring it to the stage," she said.

A 72-hour priority booking window opens for AFFIN cardholders at 8pm on Aug 18, before general ticket sales begin on Aug 21.
