AMPANG JAYA – Police are tracking down a teenage boy reported missing after he is believed to have left his family's home at Apartmen Taman Cahaya here on a motorcycle.
Ampang Jaya district police chief Assistant Commissioner Khairul Anuar Khalid said a missing person report was lodged by the boy's father at 12.18pm today.
He said the teenager's disappearance was discovered at about 5am last Sunday when he was found not to be in his bedroom.
"The missing person is believed to have left the house on the complainant's purple Yamaha Y15 motorcycle.

He said the missing teenager is Muhammad Khairul Ikhwan Amir, aged 17 years and 10 months, about 168 centimetres tall and weighing 70 kilogrammes.
