Kangar police chief Yusharifuddin Yusop said examinations confirmed that the bones found were human.
"The bones have been confirmed to be human bones. For now, the case is classified as sudden death and police are continuing investigations," he said in a statement.
Earlier, on July 26, Yusharifuddin said police had received information about the discovery of the sack from a man who was carrying out weeding work at his orchard.
