SK Jerantut Jaya crowned MSSD Jerantut Under-12 netball champions
The school edged SK Felda Tekam Utara 8-7 in the final at the Jerantut Youth and Sports Office court in Pahang.

JERANTUT – Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Jerantut Jaya has emerged champion of the Jerantut District Schools Sports Council (MSSD) Under-12 Netball Championship, held recently at the Jerantut Youth and Sports Office court in Pahang.
The team beat SK Felda Tekam Utara 8-7 in the final, after overcoming SK Felda Kota Gelanggi Dua 12-6 in the semi-finals.
The title run was led by three key under-12 players — Puteri Nelissa Aishah Muhammad Anwar as goal attack (GA), Nur Farisya Amani Salman in defence (GD) and Ayesha Mohd. Fadzli as goal shooter (GS).
Puteri Nelissa Aishah and Nur Farisya Amani were named best players of the championship, while Ayesha was named best shooter.
All three, along with two other players from the school, have been selected to represent MSSD Jerantut at the Pahang Schools Sports Council (MSSP) level competition soon.
SK Jerantut Jaya headmaster Jamalludin Baharun said the players' determination, resilience and discipline under experienced school coach Nurul Amalina Mohd. Rodzuan enabled the team to finish ahead of 31 other schools at district level.
"The team's success is also because teachers and coaches have made netball one of the main co-curricular activities, besides frequently organising school-level competitions involving Level Two pupils and friendly matches with other schools," he said in Jerantut, Pahang recently.
