KUALA LUMPUR: Sun PhuQuoc Airways has announced a new daily direct service between Kuala Lumpur and Phu Quoc Island, expanding its Southeast Asian network and strengthening tourism and travel ties between Malaysia and Vietnam.
Scheduled to begin operations on 1 September 2026, the new route will offer one return flight daily, making Malaysia the seventh international destination in the carrier's direct network.
The service gives Malaysians easier access to Phu Quoc, known as Vietnam's "Pearl Island", while supporting the island's growth as one of Southeast Asia's leading tourism destinations.
