KUALA LUMPUR – Actress Anna Jobling says she prefers to save and build up assets for the future rather than spend excessively on things she does not really need.

Anna, whose full name is Anna Ellisa Gustin Jobling Abdul Rahman, 26, said her preferred "investments" include buying gold, and that she also plans to own a home of her own one day.

"I'm not the kind of person who is a big spender. I don't like spending money on things I feel are not really needed.

"It's better to build assets. I like buying gold and I like giving to charity. That is number one for me, whether it is to other people, animals, family members or friends," she said after the KLFW X Tomei Collection fashion show held in conjunction with Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW) 2026 today. The Yes! Captain Zul Aaryan star said she puts other people's needs ahead of her own wants, to the point that every purchase is weighed carefully.

"I think I prioritise others. Even if I want to buy something for myself, I'll think two, three, four, five times before buying anything," she said.

Asked about buying property, she said it was a personal plan that she did not feel needed to be shared publicly.

On her work with Tomei, Anna – who is in her second year as ambassador for the jewellery brand – appeared at KLFW wearing iconic Tomei pieces worth more than RM225,000.

At Fountain L'Esplanade, Suria KLCC, she said the matching necklace, bracelet, ring and earrings from the Emerald & Sapphire collection, showcasing the beauty of emeralds and sapphires, gave her a boost of confidence.

"This special collection is not merely an accessory; it symbolises a woman's self-confidence and expression.

"I am honoured to be part of this historic moment as this is also Tomei's debut on the Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week stage," she said.

Also drawing attention were Diana Danielle, Sweet Qismina, Arabella, Chacha Maembong, Kaka Azraff and Raden, who modelled Tomei jewellery with a combined value of up to RM2 million.
