Water pressure believed to be behind mystery sounds at Empire City
Petaling Jaya police say checks at M Tower found nothing suspicious after a viral video claimed a woman-like voice was heard.
PETALING JAYA – Mystery sounds said to resemble a woman's voice coming from a residential unit at M Tower, Empire City here are believed to have been caused by water pressure in the building's utility area.
Petaling Jaya district police chief Assistant Commissioner Shamsudin Mamat said checks were carried out by police personnel together with security guards at the location.
"My personnel conducted checks and all floors were inspected by the security guards. Nothing suspicious was found," he said in a statement today.
Shamsudin said the security guards also heard the sounds, but these were believed to have come from the water pipes.
