UNIQLO to Launch First Hijab Collection in Malaysia

UNIQLO is set to introduce its first hijab collection in Malaysia, marking a significant milestone for the global retailer as it expands its LifeWear philosophy into the modest wear category.

Rather than approaching the category through seasonal trends, the collection begins with what UNIQLO is best known for: fabric innovation. It has been developed around three distinct fabric propositions, starting with the widely favoured AIRism UV Protection, followed by Satin and Georgette.

Each hijab is designed to offer a different wearing experience, allowing women to choose based on their lifestyle, daily routine and personal preference.

The collection was designed with the country's climate and everyday wearing habits in mind. According to the brand, it demonstrates how global textile expertise can be carefully translated into local relevance, where breathability, comfort and versatility matter as much as style itself.

Adding to anticipation, the campaign will also introduce three well-known personalities, each bringing their own interpretation of modern modest fashion. Their identities, along with the full collection and campaign visuals, will remain under wraps until the official announcement.
