Malaysia to Strengthen Layang-Layang Island Defences with Air Radar System by 2029
Malaysia's Defence Ministry will upgrade strategic infrastructure at Layang-Layang Island, including installing an air defence radar by 2029, to strengthen security and reassert sovereignty in the contested South China Sea.
