Indonesia charges 24 foreigners in major illegal gold mining crackdown
Indonesia has charged 24 foreign nationals as criminal suspects in an illegal gold mining scheme in the Maluku region. The suspects allegedly constructed infrastructure for underground operations near Gunung Botak, with violations carrying up to five years prison time.
